The seat is very nice quality and was packaged well. Easy construction and fits right in place. My dog will be happy to have his own seat!

Anyone who has tried to find a back seat for their 80/800 knows how rare these things are getting. Even if you can find an original, the price of shipping is prohibitive, and then you still have to have it reupholstered. These seats come UPS in a nice flat box. I waited in the driveway for the UPS man with bated breath, and put it together in the driveway before the big brown truck was out of the hood. I used it as is for a summer and just threw the cushions from my wicker love seat on it. The fit is perfect, and construction is good (of the seat not the cushions). I finally broke down and had it upholstered in good marine vinyl to match the fronts. It cost about $250 to pad and stitch up. Now the fronts look shabby. I have used this seat for two years and am very happy. I should have the arm rest wrapped as the wood pieces are the only downside to this part. There is no better/cheaper way to get a good back seat for your Scout.
