This B&M Transkit for T407 Torqueflite 727 transmission gives you the same high-quality components that are used in all B&M Street and Strip transmissions.

The kit includes high performance friction materials, a complete overhaul gasket set, a drain plug kit, and all of the parts necessary to convert your valve body into a full manual/automatic valve body.

This kit is very well put together and complete. There was nothing missing and it has worked very well. The performance is great and I'm really happy with it. It was my very first automatic rebuild and it went well. Word to the wise: Have the Munroe 727 handbook and the shop manual for your IH ready for cross reference. The instructions provided are at times barely legible. They appear to be a copy of a copy of a copy. All-in-all a great product and would have got 5 stars if not for the instructions.

If you're looking to kill two birds with one stone (rebuild and reprogram) this is the way to go. Most overhaul kits do not include the rear band, but this one does which is a real plus. The service parts are nice quality. I only rated this product 4 out of 5 stars due to the instructions and the poor quality of the images it contains. B & M can and should do better here. The instructions are fine when it comes to performing the modifications, but they leave a bit to be desired for the more routine steps. One should have other reference materials available when performing an overhaul anyway, so this is by no means a deal breaker.
