The cpt heavy duty shackle kit will improve your steering and handling of your scout. The shackles seam to be way better than factory. You are going to want to buy the caster shims with them because it will help make the steering that much better.

Outstanding improvement in stability over stock and well worth the upgrade. These shackles are easy and straight forward to install. I recommend installing new bushings on the springs as well. Easy upgrade but make sure you include the shims recommended by IHPARTSAMERICA when purchasing the shackles. Steering and handling will improve greatly.

High quality steel, high quality hardware. A good bit beefier than the stock bones. Also, the fact that you can retain the stock torsion bar up front is a big plus. Lord knows these things are squirrely enough on the highway as is. Fitment was straightforward. Be prepared to replace those spring bushings at the same time. I went with some Energy polyurethane replacements, but didn't realize this would involve pressing the old metal bushing sleeves out of my spring ends. Ball joint press worked well for that... Would have liked to have the option to purchase a chassis black powder coated version for an extra $20 or something.
