Does your 1971-80 Scout II, Terra or Traveler wander or have slop in the steering?

Replace that worn out and weaker rag joint with this new Borgeson steering universal joint.

Reduces play in your steering for a much 'tighter' steering system.

Select proper size of joint before ordering - either 3/4"-30 spline or 13/16"-36 spline.

A perfect solution for those with a body lift.

Complete assemblies available if you want to replace both the rag joint and upper steering column joint.

How do I determine which size ragjoint I need? All Scout II's from 1971 thru mid 1977 came from the factory with a 13/16" input and then from mid 1977 thru 1980 had a 3/4" input. If your steering box was replaced at some point in its life it may have had a change in input size. To best determine which input you have in this scenario use a 11/16" 12 point box end wrench and try to slip it over the input shaft of the steering box(steering box must be removed or ragjoint removed in order to perform this task) . If the wrench slips over the input shaft then you have a 3/4" input. If it will NOT go over the input shaft then you have a 13/16" input.

I've used these joints in the last 2 Scout II's I have owned. They make a 100% solid connection between the steering column and the box and eliminate any slop that the rag joint might have had. They are great and last forever. These are THE steering joint to use. The last one I ordered from IH Parts America, I misordered the wrong size! Oopps. But it was no problem as they sent me out the other size ASAP and I was back on the road in no time at all,
