Thanks to their internal, self-energizing voltage regulator, that one wire is all you see besides the shiny chrome plated case. What you won't see is that the alternator is a brand new unit(not remanufactured) and a fan and single groove pulley are included.
Direct bolt-in for most IH applications including 1972-75 Pickup or Travelall and 1971-80 Scout II, Terra or Traveler.
