These CPT - Crawler Proven Technology pinion or caster shim sets in 2, 4 or 6 degree are designed to add or subtract caster to your Scout or Scout II , Terra or Traveler or can also be used for correcting pinion angle.

They are made from steel and are either 1.75", 2" or 2.5" wide with a 5/16" center pin hole.

Designed to be bolted on to your leaf spring pack to help reduce road wander or correct pinion angle.

New center pins recommended but sold separately.

Sold in pairs.

Choose shim of choice when ordering.

NOTE - If using 3/8" centerpins, the shims will need to be drilled as they are manufactured with 5/16" holes. IHPA will be happy to drill the shims to the larger 3/8" hole for an additional charge.

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Scout II with slight wobble
Submitted by: Daniel K Minor (Milpitas, CA)

After a new set of tires I seemed to have a slight wobble on my '75 SII. Mostly stock, but with 2.5" lift springs and 31" KM2 BFG's. Jeff recommended a 2° shim so I wouldn't cause any other problems. Cleared up the issue and drives much more stable now.

My dad's traveller was weaving side to side when he installed some lift shackles so we put these on and he was back to Cadillac status!
