There were a few things I have to do that are not in the vague instructions that came with this kit. I had to cut the springs off the e-brake cables. I'm also going to have to modify the hard brake lines, they need to be shortened. The t-bolts that came with the kit are garbage. Two of them snapped in half before reaching the required torque setting. I ended up using grade 8 bolts. It seems as though the brake pads are mismatched... I had to grind a nub off the back of one so that it would seat correctly against the caliper piston. All in all, it seems to be a decent kit and I have no regrets.

I did the disc brake conversion using the IHONLYNORTH disc brake kit. I had the rear axle out of the vehicle when I did it which made it an easy project. This conversion is well worth the money and in addition, rids you dealing with drum brakes. My Scout II stops on a dime. I added the correct proportioning valve and correct vacuum booster to complete the system. It works perfectly. If your project is for both trails and your daily driver, I highly recommend it.
