Installed this emblem on my 74 pickup. The original one had been jarred loose when the PO hit a deer (of course this was the only damage the tough old IH sustained), leaving an ugly old backing area with 2 holes and old glue residue where an emblem should have been.
Installed this emblem, and it looks slightly awkward given its small size compared to the larger backing area. But I can't complain, it looks much better than what was there before. Construction is a solid, slightly flexible aluminum that blends well with the aluminum grill. 2 posts on the back that were larger and of different spacing than the stock holes on the backing area, so I had to drill 2 new ones(the emblem covered up the old ones, so no foul there). Applied some JB Weld around the edges, put some speed nuts on the posts behind the grill for support, and it's good to go.
