This is the front parking brake cable for all 1971-78 Scout II, Terra and Traveler except right hand drive with IH gas engine.
Also fits 1979-80' with diesel engine.
If your parking brake doesn't hold very well than you may need one of these.

Q: Hi! I need an emergency brake cable for a 78 scout II. But, the cable I have measures about 56”. Most of what I see online is about 62” and some are much longer. Just need to know what you have and the cable length. Thx
A: If you have a 78', that means you need the late cables, which the front cable clips to the cross-member.
