715 POWER STEERING / HYDRAULIC OIL

SWEPCO 715 Power Steering/Hydraulic Oil is a premium quality, high performance mineral oildesigned to assure efficient, smooth operation of power assisted steering and hydraulic systems.It meets the requirements for power steering/hydraulic units in U.S., European, and Japanese carmanufacturers (except Honda, which only approves Honda fluids) calling for mineral-type power steeringfluid. It also meets fluid requirements for British automobiles. 715 is also a favorite in the racing circuit dueto the protection it offers in high-performance applications.

Note: Some power steering applications call for ATF, in those cases you should use ATF to comply with thecar manufacturer's recommendation, in these cases, our recommendation would be to use Swepco 714-20ATF. Many vehicle manufacturers have switched from the use of ATF in power steering units because ofthe problems associated with the additives in the “regular Dexron-type” fluids in the power steering systemsuch as foaming, hose swelling, and more of a tendency for holding moisture.
