This transmission adapter to the Jeep or Scout Dana 18 / 20 or Scout Dana 300 transfer case is 1.012" in length. Adapter material is 356 T-6 heat treated aluminum alloy. Adapter kit includes a adapter casting, 23 spline x 6 spline spud shaft, gasket, seal, o-ring, bearing, bearing retainer, fastening hardware, and adapter instructions.
Transfer case
This adapter assembly will fit any Dana Spicer 18 / 20Jeep or Scout including Scout Dana 300 version with a 6 tooth female drive gear. The transfer case index to the new adapter will require an index retainer & sealed bearing(both included with your purchase when purchased with us). Please I.D. the transfer case bore size (3-1/8") small hole or (4") large hole for proper retainer.
Transmission
The kit is designed for exclusive use with all 1980 & newer Jeep/Dodge manual and automatic transmission that feature a 23 spline 4x4 output shaft and round six bolt tail housing including Dodge NV4500. Note: For Jeep owners with AX15 output shaft may require shortening due to a positive stickout.
Retainer and Sealed Bearing sold separately but required to complete adapter. Choose proper retainer size when ordering.
