Steering knuckle king pin bearing cap for 1961-71 Scout 80, Scout 800, 1955-71 IH Pickup and Travelall.
For Dana 27, 30 & 44 Closed Ball Knuckle Steering
Note: These Caps do not have splines like the original upper Kingpin Cap on some models that use a Bronze Bearing that has internal splines. If your upper Bronze Bearing is worn, The Cap pin fit may be loose and require a new Bearing/Race.

Q: I have seen some YouTube videos of people rebuilding their closed knuckle assembly and they have bearings on both the bottom and top king pins, but my Dana 27 on my 1963 Scout 80 has the bronze bushing on the bottom and the bearing on the top. The king pins for the bottom bushings have keys to keep it in place. My question is if it's okay to replace the bushings with bearings? Thank you.
A: You can replace the bushing style only if you buy another new cap that is meant for the bearing. They do not make the bushings anymore.
Q: these can replace the ones with splines right
A: Yes
