Q: Do you have any instructions for connecting this distributor? Specifically there are three wires coming off the new distributor- Red, Yellow and Black. The old distributor only had red and black. Where does the yellow wire connect to?
A: The unit comes with an instruction sheet. The yellow is the coil negative.
Q: As this is an electronic ignition, why is a ballast resistor required? thanks
A: It doesn't say a ballast resistor is required.
Q: What ignition module is required or is it all self contained
A: These are all self-contained units.
Q: I am interest in moving to a Holley sniper 2300 efi. What other parts will I need with this distributor other than the Holley efi kit. Thank you.
A: If you are looking to do timing control, you will need the coil driver module and new coil found on our store. If you do not wish to do timing control, you only need to purchase the coil. We have an in-depth YouTube video discussing this.
