This custom high torque starter is for the 152 or 196 4cyl or 266, 304, 345, 392 V-8 IH International Harvester engine.

This is an after market product that is half the weight of the stock starter and gives twice the torque.

For those of you with hot start problems this should be the solution you have been looking for. 

Starter spacer not included.

This starter is awesome. Cranks over so much faster than the old OEM one. Had to do a little wiring work to make it function perfectly but it is well worth it.

 

Q: The starter didn't come with a wiring diagram. I have three wires for the old starter, and the new starter only has one lug for the battery and one other connection point. How should the starter be wired?

Q: Does the mini starter come with the nose cone or should I use the old one?
A: The starter comes ready to bolt-on. No other items needed.
Q: I have a 345 do I need a spacer?
A: If you have a T407 Automatic.
Q: How do I connect the wiring on this starter? It didn't come with instructions.
A: The small wire activates the starter. The big post, goes to the battery.
Q: I have a 152 do I need the starter spacer ?
A: No, the starter spacer is only used on automatic T407 equipped IH's.
