SWEPCO 306 Supreme Formula Engine Oil is a premium quality, multi-purpose engine oil speciallyformulated to provide superior performance under the most demanding operating conditions. It is manufactured from the very finest high VI paraffinic base stocks andutilizes the most advanced additive chemistry including DIMONYL, a unique chemical additive developedby SWEPCO.
The 10W30, 15W40 & 20W50 weights meet the API CI-4/SL specification, which is the last spec for use inpre-2007 gasoline and diesel engines. The CI-4/SL oils have a higher additive package, primarilyphosphorous and zinc than the CJ-4/SM is allowed to have, therefore it should only be used in pre-2007engines.
SWEPCO 306 is used by high-performance engine builders with confidence in all types of engines,including those utilizing flat-tappet cams, which require the oil to have a high zinc content.

Flat Tappet Cams

Remember folks, your International engines and most of your transplants are running the typical flat tappet cams which lack the additives to protect them from going flat. Running Swepco 306 is necessary to ensure the longevity of your camshafts and to ensure your older engines have the proper additives oils of today no longer have.
