Power Steering Box Input Reseal Kit for 1971-80 Scout II, Terra or Traveler with factory power steering.

Also fits ALL 1969-75' Travelall and Pickup with Saginaw power steering.

Select proper size of seal before ordering - either 3/4"-30 spline or 13/16"-36 spline.

How do I determine which size input seal I need? All Scout II's from 1971 thru mid 1977 came from the factory with a 13/16" input and then from mid 1977 thru 1980 had a 3/4" input. If your steering box was replaced at some point in its life it may have had a change in input size. To best determine which input you have in this scenario use a 11/16" 12 point box end wrench and try to slip it over the input shaft of the steering box(steering box must be removed or ragjoint removed in order to perform this task). If the wrench slips over the input shaft then you have a 3/4" input. If it will NOT go over the input shaft then you have a 13/16" input. Please also note that there are some real strange setups that we have come across that have a 3/4" input but use the seal out of the 13/16" input.
